Al Ain City Tour Description

Al ain is the one among the world’s oldest abiding inhabited settlements. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is just 1.30 hours drive from Dubai. This naturally blessed landscape is fed by natural springs and is surrounded by fresh water streams and plantations. This blissful land is called as the Garden city of UAE. Since it is the birthplace of United Arab Emirates' founding father Sheikh Zayed, it was once an important destination and visitors came to see its Forts, Zoo and Museums. A tour to Al Ain is perfect for nature lovers and history seekers as the city is more authentic without avant-grade buildings.

Al Ain Tour from Dubai: Al Hili Gardens

This is one of the most blessed destinations of Al Ain which was developed as public park to safeguard the prominent historical monument - Hili Tomb - which was discovered during excavation. Here, the modern fountains in the backdrop of the tombs and the picturesque garden is visually appealing. Though the park has three Bronze Age tombs surrounded by many smaller graves and the remnants from the iron age, only two tombs are available for exploration, and the third tomb is yet to be explored by archaeologists. When you spend time here during your Al Ain tour from Dubai, you will feel  the beauty hidden in mystery. The Hili Gardens is open for visitors from 16:30 to 21:30 and is closed on public holidays.

Al Ain City Tour Description: Al Ain Museum

After Hili Gardens you will proceed to Al Ain Museum. A visit to this museum will provide you with an insight on UAE’s journey from Stone age to this date. You will find remnants including different types of tools and arrowheads that belong to the sixth mille BCE. The Museum was the palace of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and was constructed in 1937. The design and style of Al Ain Palace is very similar to other historical constructions of the UAE. The palace’s distinctive internal gate is decorated with verses from the Holy Qur’an.  The palace is divided into three main sections - Gifts, Archaeology, and Ethnography. This National Museum provides you an understanding about  the local traditions and culture that defines the beauty of this region.

Al Ain City Tour Description: Jabel Hafeet

After your visit to Al Ain Museum, you will proceed to the second largest peak of Emirates; Jabel Hafeet- the gigantic Rocky Mount, which is the most prominent location of your al ain one day trip, because it  provides you an attention-grabbing view of the city. Jebel Hafeet is 1250 feet high and is the second highest peak in UAE. This rocky mountain stands as guardian of Al Ain and Oman border. Rock-bound lime stones are a main attraction of this area, which is formed by the changing weather conditions.
