Nearby Dahid town you will find the charming hilly Fossil Rock that stands up amidst the red sand dunes. is Friday Market. You can take a stroll through Friday market otherwise called as Souq al Juma. Though the name suggests Friday Market, this market is open for seven days in the week. The market is located between Dubai and Fujairah road and you can see the road as you approach Masafi. Here, you will find rugs, antiques earthenware, and souvenirs for reasonable price. This market is also a great place for Afghani/Pakistani carpets, shrubs, mats, etc. After a stroll through Friday market, now you will continue towards, Masafi region which is known for its fresh water streams.

This region is amazingly beautiful and from here you will drive to the fishing harbour, Dibba. Now the trip takes a beautiful turn towards the spectacular view of Indian Ocean.
Massafi village is located between the borders of the Hajar Mountains in Fujairah. The village is developed by the old unsealed road which go through Fujairah to Dubai via Sharjah. The village is divided into two parts. The larger section belongs to the emirate of Fujairah and the smaller regions belongs with the emirate of Ras al Khaimah.
This coastal direction, will take you to Fujairah city where you will visit Bidya Mosque, the oldest existing mosque in UAE and Fujairah fort; the largest and most significant fort of Emirates.

The historic attractions - the Al-Bidyah Mosque
and Fujairah Fort
is the two excellent sightseeing attractions of this township. This city is a favorite weekend relied for tourists and locals alike. This charming coastline is ideal spot for scuba diving and sunbathing, moreover the city is a great site for tripping into the Hajar Mountains.
North to Fujairah city, you will see Al- Bidyah mosque constructed using mud-bricks. The mosque comprises of a prayer hall adorned with arches and ventilation in addition to a Mihrab that points to Mecca.
The Fujairah Fort; the oldest fort in the United Arab Emirates, was the only stone constructed building along the Fujairah coast for centuries. The fort consists of three major parts; halls, one square tower, and two other towers.
The area where the forts belong is now a part of heritage village. The village which was set up by the Archaeology and Heritage department displays restored old houses which exhibit traditional Emirate life. In the village you can also see the Al Yazrah irrigation system which was used by Emirati farmers.

The Fujairah Museum is located on the southern side of the fort. The museum has an amazing collection of artifacts which belong to Bronze Age. These souvenirs were found from Qidfa
region. The musuem displays weaponries belonging to Bronze and Iron Age, painted pottery, soapstone carved vessels, and pre-Islamic silver coins.
