Here, you will first visit Al Fahidi Fort, which stands as a symbol of Emirati’s tradition, culture and heritage. After a stroll through this fort you will get an insight into the local life and culture. From here proceed to Al Shindagah region, which fascinates its visitors with its coral-covered houses, wind towers, diving and heritage museum etc. Your next destination is Bastakia Quarter otherwise called as Dubai’s historic heart, an area known for traditional homes with eye-catchy courtyards. After spending some time here, you will then go to Dubai Museum where you will get an insight into Dubai’s past. Take a close look into the remnants and artefacts displayed here and then move to the creek, which has played a crucial role in Dubai’s growth and development. From the creek, you will board Abra, the traditional water-taxi to cross the creek. Now, you will be visiting two prominent attractions of the city; Gold and Spice Souk, which are known for its wide variety of gold and spice collections respectively.
